I'm first off a wife & mom. I also work full time and am in school. I work in clinical laboratory science, so I'm into blood & other gross stuff. Not in a gory, creepy, goth kind of way, but in a life-giving kind of way. I'm a moody mix of optimism & cynicism; of determination & intense self-doubt; of confidence & maybe a little fear; of self-acceptance & self-loathing. I love music and all things beautiful. I also like sports and competition. My left brain and my right brain are both alive & kickin'.  I'm a Christian and a conservative.  I haven't found a mold yet that I fit into - mostly I think that's good.

I don't blog to expound deep thoughts, and I'm not trying to impress anyone with my exuberant writing skills.  I'm mainly here to talk about my life and its ups and downs.  Maybe share an opinion or two.  I'm just here to be me.
